This medal was awarded for operational service between 6th June 1944 and 8th May 1945 in Belgium, France, the Netherlands and Germany. Service in the English Channel, North Sea and Bay of Biscay in connection with the campaign in northern Europe also qualified. This reproduction France and Germany Star medal with Atlantic Clasp is made from 22ct gold plated lead-free pewter. It is supplied on a red, blue and white ribbon attached to a card with an image of troops moving inland from their landing craft on the front and historical information on the reverse.
